A flat, sealed path along the inner harbour from Kulim Park in Otūmoetai to Fergusson Park in Matua. It's about 3 km there and back, with views across the water to Mauao.

Otūmoetai and Matua are right in the middle of my patch, with some of Tauranga's best harbour-side walking. I'll collect your dog from home, take them for a proper outing and bring them back happy, and I can pop in to look after cats and other pets too.

Flat paths, open grass and water views. Every walk is matched to your dog's energy and the weather.
Fergusson Park
Wide open space and harbour views off Tilby Drive, open from 5.30am to 10pm. A good spot for a sniff around, and a run where off-lead is allowed if your dog's recall is reliable.
Matua Salt Marsh
Boardwalks, birdlife and harbour views. Council rules say dogs must be on a lead here at all times, and I stick to that.

- On lead on every footpath, road and grass berm
- Never within 10 metres of a playground or outdoor exercise equipment

Do you walk dogs at Otūmoetai Pā?
No. Dogs aren't allowed at Otūmoetai Pā Historic Reserve on Levers Road, so I use the harbour path, Fergusson Park and other dog-friendly spots instead.

Yes. Pick-up and drop-off is included anywhere in Otūmoetai and Matua, and across the rest of my main area.
Can you do a midday toilet break while I'm at work?
Yes. A drop-in visit of up to 30 minutes is $20 and includes a toilet break, fresh water, some play and a photo update. Book 5 or more a week and you'll save 10%.
